We are growing various types of freeland vegetables: new potatoes dill onions peas different salads beetroot persil etc Sale at the Summer Market in Pellinge (Pellinge Sommartorg) or directly from the farm.

At an island we grow Christmas Trees. Since 1990 we have grown and sold Christmas Trees by the riverside of Borgå river or directly from the farm. As the Chistmas Tree plantation is on an island, the trees are transported ashore by boat or by snow-scooter, depending on the state of the ice.

It takes about 8-12 years for one Christmas Tree to grow to the correct size. In order to get uniform and thick Christmas trees they are cut twice a year. Every year new trees are also planted, and the saplings are then two years old.

OThe weed control is being taken care of by the sheep!
